Consultations
Appointments for consultations in the rooms, or in the wards at Westmead Private Hospital, may be made by telephone during office hours.
12 lead electrocardiogram
Preoperative and other electrocardiogram recordings may be arranged during office hours.
Holter monitoring (ambulatory electrocardiographic monitoring)
Ambulatory electrocardiographic monitoring may be arranged during office hours.
Transthoracic echocardiogram
Transthoracic echocardiograms for inpatients or outpatients may be arranged during office hours.
Urgent echocardiograms out of hours may be arranged with the consultant on call. The list of consultants on call is kept at Westmead Private Hospital switch (8837 9000) and at Westmead Private Hospital Intensive Care (8837 9268).
Overseas referrals
Quotations of costs for overseas patients to be investigated and managed by consultants at Westmead Private Cardiology may be obtained by telephoning the consultant.
